- Begin by ensuring your vehicle is parked in a shaded or cool area, and its surface is not hot to the touch. Avoid working under direct sunlight or on a hot surface.
2. Dilution:
- PreClean should be diluted with water approximately 40:1 during the summer months, and 30:1 when autumn and winter arrive with their dirtier roads. It's crucial to follow the suggested dilution ratios for optimal performance and safety.
3. Application:
- Use a sprayer to apply the diluted PreClean to your vehicle's surface. Start at the bottom and work your way up, ensuring complete coverage.
4. Dwell Time:
- Allow PreClean to dwell on the surface for a few minutes. This dwell time allows the product to break down and loosen contaminants for easier removal.
5. Agitation:
- For stubborn or heavily soiled areas, you can gently agitate the PreClean using a soft-bristle brush or mitt. Be cautious not to apply excessive pressure to prevent scratching the paint.
6. Rinse:
- Rinse off PreClean thoroughly using a pressure washer or hose. Start from the top and work your way down to ensure all residue is removed.
7. Continue with Foam and Wash:
- PreClean serves as the initial step in a three-step washing process. After rinsing, you can proceed with the next steps: Foam and Wash, as part of your car washing routine.
